VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

This week (July 19 – 23) we will have our VBS here “High Seas Adventure”.  Please pray for a successful, fun-filled week and for all the wonderful volunteers who make this possible. CONGREGATIONS FOR THE HOMELESS

We are providing dinners on Tuesdays & Fridays during the month of August.  LDS is providing lunch and the other dinners, while Newport Pres. is providing breakfast.  Here are the dates remaining for OPPC:  Tuesdays 8-10, 8-24, 8-31 & Fridays 8-6, 8-13, 8-20, 8-27.  Doors open at 7 PM and dinner will be served immediately afterwards.  I will have a sign up sheet available in Fellowship Hall beginning today.  If you have any questions about this, please call Laurie Friberg.

WORSHIP

If you would like to help with the Sunday morning worship service occasionally, there are signup sheets on the kiosk in Fellowship Hall for readers and greeters.  Just add your name to any list. If you have questions, contact Dave Bosworth for readers or Keith Hunt for greeters.

GOLF TOURNAMENT

Time to think about the OPPC Golf tournament again.  It will be held at Twin Rivers Golf Course in Fall City on Saturday, August 28th at 12 pm.  We guarantee no Husky or Cougar games are scheduled that day, so you have no excuse. Sign up sheets are in the church office or you may get one from the committee on Sundays.  The cost is $65, which includes golf and a BBQ afterwards and wonderful prizes and raffles.  You won’t be sorry you signed up.  Bring your friends and sign up for a foursome or the committee will make up a team for you.  The committee is Ruth Riley, Peggy Anderson & Pastor Charlie
