women's retreat - Tell the secret

Friday, Sept. 22 - Sunday, Sept 24

Larson's home at Alta Lake

After a hiatus of three years, there will again be a Women’s Retreat this Fall! It is being organized jointly by the Adult Ministries committee and the Presbyterian Women.  It will be Sept. 22 – 24 at the gorgeous Alta Lake home of the Larson’s.  We expect beautiful fall weather, a great program -“Tell the Secret”- by Sharon Bowler, and lots of fellowship!  Plans are still underway, so watch the bulletin and email for sign-up and minimal cost. Don’t worry; there will be carpools!  This is a great way to get to know other women in the Church.

Crossroads Antiracism Organizing and Training

Dismantling racism, building racial justice in institutions

Saturday, Sept 23 (9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.)

at Seattle First Presbyterian Church

Racism dehumanizes us all —
Dismantling racism heals us all.
Recognizing that racism goes beyond personal prejudice, Crossroads offers a distinctive power analysis of how racism functions in institutions, and offers tools to create antiracist transformation.

Led by nationally recognized leaders with experience training church leaders, this event is open to all our churches. We do request, in order to provide a more effective experience, that a minimum of 5 members from each faith community attend together.
Members of the Presbytery Council, Committee on Ministry and Committee on Preparation for Ministry are strongly encouraged to attend.

Cost: $10/person (includes lunch and materials)
