theology on tap
2nd and 4th Tuesdays of September, October, and November starting Sept. 12 (6:30. - 8:00 p.m.)
at bellevue brewing company (1820 130th Ave NE, Bellevue, WA 98005)
Theology on tap is a way for people to get together and have deep, meaningful, and thought-provoking conversation. We will broaden our theological and philosophical reflection amongst friends at our local tap house! Topics will come from Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount and no question is off limits. Invite friends, colleagues, and neighbors to join the discussion as we respectfully learn from one another and find common ground in our differences. Beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 12, Pastor Becki will host the conversation and begin with a thought provoking question. Hope to see you there!
Adult Ministry Luncheons
Meeting from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm, this class seeks to engage, inform, and draw you deeper into your relationship with Jesus. (A $5.00 suggested donation for lunch.)
WHAT IS THE BIBLE AND HOW CAN WE READ IT? with Rev. Dr. Sara Koening
Sunday, November 12 (11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.)
Making plans for our death is one of the most important gifts we can give to our loved ones. But, have you ever considered the gift it would be to you? Thinking through our most significant moments, people, and values often decreases our anxiety and provides opportunity for meaningful connection. Pastor Becki will walk us through the process of thinking about what is most important to you in your last days and provide resources and time for us to create a memorial service for our loved ones. From who would you like to be at your bedside to what hymns would you like at your service, this class will prepare you to live joyfully knowing your plans are set and your wishes known.
Please RSVP below by Wednesday, Oct. 18.
This class will include lunch and Five Wishes curriculum with a suggested donation of $10.
Childcare available if requested ahead of time.
