We have three goals at OPPC in our youth groups. First and foremost we want to help the youth develop a personal love for Jesus Christ!
Nothing is more important in a person's life than loving Jesus. Second is to help by serving others. We go on missions trips and service
projects to share God's love with others. Third is of course to have fun in all that we do!

The Main Thing:

It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God--that is, our righteousness, holiness
and redemption. -
I Corinthians 1:30

We meet every other Sunday night at different houses. We share a meal together and enjoy each other's fellowship from 6:00 to 7:30pm.
We have monthly events that are both fun and social or a service project.

The Wildside:

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline. - II Timothy 1:7

The Wildside is our Middle School Youth Group. We meet every Sunday after church in the OPPC youth room, downstairs in
building E from 11:30am to 1:00pm.

How the Youth Ministry Works:

Both youth ministry programs at OPPC have similar elements. At any given youth group meeting you know there will be some kind of
fun activity or game, there will be a time of prayer and prayer requests, and there will be a Bible-based lesson. The program is run by
the Youth Director and many volunteers!

Ways to get Involved!

We can always use the help of more volunteers! Without our adult volunteers, this ministry would not happen.

There are many ways to get involved:

Weekly youth group, lock-in leaders, drivers, leading games, deputation trip leaders, and more! We are always thankful for new volunteers.
If you are interested in giving some of your time and talents to the youth program please contact Youth Director Dan Custer.
